Reno runs a real competitive circuit. The Reno Tennis Center hosts Ladder Leagues year-round — weekly play with live DUPR ranking updates, Monday–Friday at 6pm. Round Robins add a social layer if you want varied opponents without ladder pressure. For official DUPR advancement, the three annual sanctioned events are what count: Spring Classic in April (all levels), Reno Pickleball Open in June (100+ competitors, $5,000+ prize purse), and The Championships in August for 4.0+ players. Doubles entry runs $60–120 per player. Players come in from California, Utah, and Nevada for the Open specifically — the organization is solid and the field is genuinely competitive.
